Locations
The German Federal Solidarity- and Third World Movement has a long and eventful history, as well as the several trials to document their issues and activities. The generation of competences in the international and developmental field had a great influence on the politic culture of the left. As a result of this movement archives and documentation centres in different cities were created, which materials are indispensable in solidarity oriented educational work and public relations related to development policy. In autumn 1998 eleven of those archives have joined to a network, in order to make their work more efficient and better coordinated: Archiv³ Cooperation of Third World Archives.
